Terms of use
Draft of 11-10-2026
DRAFT: this text needs legal review before it is published. It is not yet a binding policy.
These terms apply when you use Akmo Invoice on the web or on Android.
The service
Akmo Invoice is a free tool for preparing GST invoices and related documents. It runs on your device; sign-in uses Firebase Authentication and sync uses your own Google Drive.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the documents you issue and for your tax filings. The app's tax calculations and reports are aids, not tax advice: check them with your accountant before you rely on them.
Your data and backups
Your data lives on your device and in your Drive. We cannot recover it for you. Keep Drive sync on, or make regular backups.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to issue false documents, to break the law, or to interfere with the service or with Google's services.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in secure. Your use of Google services is also covered by Google's terms.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profits.
Ending use
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend sign-in for accounts that misuse the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city to be confirmed] have jurisdiction.
Changes
We publish changed terms here with their date. If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
