DRAFT: this text needs legal review before it is published. It is not yet a binding policy.

Akmo Invoice is built so that your business data stays with you. This policy explains the little we hold and why.

Akmo Invoice is published by [publisher name and address to be confirmed]. You can reach us at [support email to be confirmed].

Only your sign-in record in Firebase Authentication, a Google service: your email address, display name, user ID, sign-in method and sign-in times. We use it to sign you in and to keep your data separate from other users. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else.

Your invoices, customers, items, payments, business profile, logos and signatures are stored on your device. When you connect Google Drive, they are also copied to a hidden app folder and an "Akmo Invoice" folder in your own Drive. We have no server that stores them and we cannot read them.

The app asks for two Drive permissions only: its own hidden app folder (drive.appdata) and the files it creates (drive.file). It cannot see any other file in your Drive. Data received from Google APIs is used only to sync and export your own records, in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

The app contains no advertising, tracking cookies or third-party crash-reporting code. On the website (not the Android app), Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights count anonymous page views and measure page speed, without cookies and without your business data. Errors are kept in a log on your device; it leaves the device only if you choose to send a diagnostic report, and you see the report before it is sent.

If you create a Drive share link for a document, anyone with that link can open that one file. The app warns you first and lists your links so you can revoke them.

Connections to Google use HTTPS. Backups can be encrypted with a passphrase that only you know. On Android you can lock the app with a PIN.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings or on the delete-account page. This deletes your sign-in record and the app data on that device. Files in your own Drive are yours to keep or delete.

The app is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 18.

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with its date before it takes effect.
